While the dining room wasn't really on our to-do list, we had a volunteer help us. So it moved up on the list! Maybe one day we will actually put furniture in it. Right now, it has a jumparoo under the light (so we don't run into it) and my sewing machine (which hasn't been used since before Christmas....)

Depending on the light, the green reads different colors. We LOVE it!

One day, we will scrape the ceiling. Probably not soon.

I had a model. :) He touches the molding and says "Davy". Cooper loved watching him work!

Yay all done!
It took four coats of paint on the bottom, plus some touch ups. Apparently sometime during the life of the house, drywall was added over what we think was paneling. This made some of the trim really thin and some of the outlet boxes weren't centered. It took a little doctoring, but if you don't take off the outlet covers, you won't know. :)
I am thinking about changing out the globes on the chandelier for something a little more modern. We weren't really fans of it before painting, but it is growing on us now. Maybe since it's not so dark in there it looks better. The white on bottom really brightened up the space. And the light color on top helps it seem bigger. Because we need a bigger house... ha!
