I am trying to remember what we have done this week, but all I can remember is from Friday morning to today!
J got a phone call at 9 Friday morning, offering him the job in Dunn. We were both in shock because we were both so convinced it wasn't going to happen. After work, we headed to Raleigh to celebrate. We ate at The Cheesecake Factory. Cheesecake is definitely a celebratory food! We waited forever, but the food was good. And so was the cheesecake!
Saturday, we headed to Smithfield to the outlets to get J some clothes. He got some ties, a couple of shirts, and a pair of pants. Success!
Today we went to church in Fayetteville again, then went to Fuquay to go to Kroger and Harris Teeter. I had to get some more chicken!
Tomorrow is J's first day. I am going to Winterville for a workshop, so it will be a long day for us both.
Since J got a job, we decided it was best if he didn't ask for another day off, so I am headed to KY by myself. Instead of driving 12 hours, I am flying. I am a little nervous flying alone, but I am sure it will be fine. I will be in KY from Friday- Wednesday.
This week is coming back to me now! Tuesday, J went to the doctor. J liked him, and he had a different idea for treatment, so that's good! They had to do some bloodwork to see if this new medicine will work. I think we find out next month at his next appointment.
Thursday, we went to the local golf course so J could play some. It was such a pretty day... until we got there. Then the sun went away and it got windy. :( We both still enjoyed it.
That's all for this week. Payday is Wednesday! Yay!

Brackets have been busted!
It has been a beautiful week here in NC. We have kept the doors open most days! Gotta love that sunshine!
Monday, Anna and Elizabeth stopped by on their way to Raleigh. It was fun to hang out, even if it was short. We also ate at Andy's and got free ice cream! As we were leaving for Andy's, I looked down at the ground, and what do I see shining? My black and white diamond ring Kate Kate gave me for graduation! We lost it while we were moving, so I figured it was gone. But nope! There is was! It was a little dirty, but I put it in my cleaner, and it looks great! Not a single diamond missing.
J's interview went well Wednesday. He has to go in again tomorrow, so keep praying for this opportunity!
I ordered a bookshelf with doors this week! So we will have a place to put all of our groceries now! I used swagbucks and only paid $19.99 for it! I will post a picture when we get it. Now I am saving the next two weeks' swagbucks for a grill. :) We can't wait to grill out! (I got 3 lbs of turkey burgers for $1.24, so we can grill A LOT!)
Saturday, after I got back from Kroger, we headed to Raven Rock again. We took a different (and shorter) trail. It was fun, but the other trail was much prettier. It was also very crowded out there. It was sunny and 80, so I understand why!
Basketball has pretty much consumed our lives lately. I am beating J in our bracket though!
I am off to do paperwork- my favorite thing to do!

Beautiful Week!
It has been a beautiful week here in NC. Upper 60s, Low 70s and sunny most everyday! I think Spring is almost here.
We got our North Carolina license tags this week! I guess we are now North Carolinians! I also got my actual driver's license. I have now been a resident of three states in the past year. Life sure is crazy wonderful!
I am also proud to report that I don't have TB... I got my work physical this week and that's about the only thing I found out! J has a dr. appointment next week. We are also working on going to the eye doctor and dentist. It's going to be an expensive couple of months with all the doctor visits since we haven't been regularly!
We watched lots of basketball this week. Of course, our bubble burst, but our blood is still MAROON!
We also filed our taxes. After weeks of waiting, we finally got J's W-2! We will be getting a small refund, but hey.. we didn't make much at all last year! Just my check alone will bring in at least 8x what we made last year :)
We went to church in Fayetteville again. We feel like this will most likely be our church, but we are still going to visit a while longer before committing to anything. It is a bit further than we would like, but what can you do?
And as always, we are still praying J hears something soon about a job. We have so many dreams for our future, and J finding a job sure would help us work toward those!
Edited to add: J got an interview for a banking position in Fayetteville! We will find out more tomorrow. He had emailed last week about the job, and tonight he got an email saying they did not actually receive his resume. He quickly emailed it in, and she emailed back saying she wanted to meet with him Tuesday or Wednesday! Please pray he gets this job!

Just another week...
Well, we didn't really do much this week.
Thursday, J had a phone interview for a banking position. He thinks the interview went well, so we are HOPING AND PRAYING he gets a call for an in person interview! It would be great if he got this job!
Friday night, we went to Raleigh for Anna's birthday. It was fun to meet all her friends. And some of them are really good cooks!
Saturday, we just sat around and enjoyed doing nothing.
Today, we tried out a church in Fayetteville. It was a shorter service than at Fuquay, that's for sure! They weren't as friendly, but we still liked it enough to keep it on our list. :)
We also tried out a Mexican restaurant in town- Mi Casita. Apparently, it is the place to be in town. It was packed. The food was good, but a little more expensive than we were used to for Mexican. But we will probably still go back sometime!
