May is our summer break... although we stayed plenty busy! Cooper did celebrate summer by burning his math books (his least favorite subject.) Basement progress was slow, but the coat closet and storage room are done (except for the doors being painted.) It's so nice to free up space in other parts of the house! We got a new couch and set the tv up, so it's usable. We did have a crazy amount of rain this month (9" in one day!) Thankfully the basement stayed dry with all our waterproofing, although the garage did have some water. The driveway was (and still is) a disaster, but we have it usable until the driveway repairman gets to us. We also lost some trees in a big storm while we were celebrating Cooper's yes day (House of Cards.. so much fun!) The kids have slept down there twice due to overnight storm threats, which they have loved. JB and I went to TPAC to see Frozen for her birthday. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. We also did Top Golf to celebrate summer.
