[20] Round 2

20 weeks ~

_______________________________________________________________________

Baby is the size of a mango.

Craving: Mexican

Maternity Clothes:  I have moved into maternity pants.  My regular shirts are working fine for now. :)

Sleep: I sleep. Sometimes.

Aversions: sometimes everything.  But I can manage to eat most anything as long as it sounds good at the time.

Gender prediction: We think girl.  According to heart rate and babybpm.com, it's a boy.  Only time will tell

Name(s): We are still working on a boy name!  But we won't be sharing. :)

Labor signs: A few Braxton Hicks, but they have lessened in the past couple of weeks.

Belly Button: in

Wedding Rings:  on

Feeling: Overall, I am feeling much better.  I have started my P17 shots, which have caused me to feel pretty bad the following couple days.  I am still pretty tired, but don't nap every day now.

Looking forward to: CHRISTMAS

Movement: Baby moves. A lot.

Next appointment: January 4

Zoo Lights

We went to Memphis last night for Zoo Lights!  Coop loved it, and we had a good time, too.  Cooper loved seeing Santa and Frosty.  And all the lights, of course.  He also got to ride the train at the zoo for the first time.  We are looking forward to going next year!

We watched Frosty on TV, and now Coop is obsessed with him!

Coop thought the Leaning Tower was a rocket.

October Happenings in the 'Sip

Aunt Me wanted Cooper to see the children's museum where she works, so we planned a weekend trip to visit Uncle Stevie and Aunt Me!  Cooper LOVED the museum.  I'm sure we could have spent all day there.

One of his current obsessions- cranes

Stop bothering me! I'm driving!

How Coop feels about the museum

His happy place- the kitchen with an apron

Helping daddy milk the cow
After our weekend in Jackson, we headed to Columbus.  As soon as we got there, we headed to the pumpkin patch.

If we hadn't insisted he move, he would probably still be there.

Pin the face on the pumpkin- and he was blindfolded!

[16] Round 2

16 weeks ~

_______________________________________________________________________

Baby is the size of an avocado.

Craving: cheese, dill pickle chips, Mexican, brownies, sausage and biscuits

Maternity Clothes: Not yet, but let's be real, I don't wear a lot of 'real' clothes since I don't go out much. haha!  And my jeans are pretty stretchy!

Sleep: I guess it's ok... still waking up to go to the bathroom (should be ending soon!), but still feel tired most days and need a nap.

Labor signs: no

Belly Button: in

Wedding Rings:  on

Feeling: I have been having more good days than bad, but overall, it's still not great.  I did feel okay enough to go to the gym once this week, so that is definite progress!!  I also have developed some tail bone pain this week, which is no fun.  I did feel good enough today to make mini pumpkin pies and homemade bread.

Looking forward to: Feeling more movement

Movement: I'm feeling little flutters pretty much everyday if I pay attention when I am laying down.

Next appointment: November 30

I start my 17P shots in the next week... my first one will probably be Monday.  I'm not looking forward to the weekly shots, but am looking forward to a healthy, full term pregnancy.

[14] Round 2

14 weeks ~

_______________________________________________________________________

Baby is the size of a lemon.

Craving: cheese, dill pickle chips, Mexican

Maternity Clothes: Not yet, but let's be real, I don't wear a lot of 'real' clothes since I don't go out much. haha!  And my jeans are pretty stretchy!

Sleep: I guess it's ok... still waking up to go to the bathroom (should be ending soon!), but still feel tired most days and need a nap

Aversions: sometimes everything.  I did manage to drink coffee this week.  It wasn't good, but I drank it!

Gender prediction: We think girl.  According to heart rate and babybpm.com, it's a boy.  Only time will tell

Name(s): We discussed it this week... so that's progress!  But no decisions yet.

Labor signs: no

Belly Button: in

Wedding Rings:  on

Feeling: I have definitely had some good days this week, but the past couple haven't been great.  I still need a nap because I'm so tired and usually when I wake up is when my morning sickness is the worst.  So ready for this stage to pass!

Looking forward to: Feeling more movement

Movement: I'm like 99% sure I felt the baby move this week.  It was only once, but it is still early.  I'm looking forward to feeling more consistent movement!

Next appointment: November 30

We told all of our friends this week, which was really fun.  They couldn't believe 1) that we were pregnant 2) that we kept it a secret so long and 3) that I did the obstacle course while pregnant (I did skip an obstacle my dr did not okay.)  It's nice to be 'out' and to not have to hide the bump or how bad I feel. :)

Two is Better Than One

13 weeks (3 days)~

________________________________________________________________________

Dos is the size of a pea pod

Craving: Dill pickle chips, Mexican, seasoned french fries

Maternity Clothes: Not yet, but it is coming much sooner than last time!

Sleep: Still waking up once a night to go to the bathroom, but that's improvement!

Aversions: sometimes everything. ha! Coffee for sure though.. oh, how I miss it!

Gender prediction: We think girl.  We are praying we don't find out until late April/early May

Name(s): We are having a harder time this time.  We haven't decided anything really yet.

Labor signs: No

Belly Button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: On

Feeling:  Morning (or really all day) sickness has really been no fun this go around.  Last time I felt great pretty much the whole time!  While I haven't thrown up, I have been pretty nauseous all the time.  And I am exhausted.  Part of that is probably keeping up with a lively 2.5 year old... I think I am slowly coming out of all the first trimester junk as I have had a couple of good days lately.  Here's to hoping!

Looking Forward to: Amazing Race on Saturday with J!

Movement: I might be crazy, but I think I might have felt the baby move!  I was in bed and felt a little something.  It's not impossible this early the second time, but who knows.  I am definitely looking forward to feeling baby move!

Next Appointment: November 30
_________________________________________________

I had an appointment today.  It was short and sweet.  The nurse easily  found the heartbeat, which was 157 bpm!

Also, I hope to do these every other week or so.  Just not sure I can keep up with the frequency of last time, but I really do enjoy going  back and looking at everything, so I am hoping to do at least every other week.  I will usually post these on Fridays when I turn weeks.

Sorry the font is so big.. I had a hard time formatting it, and don't care enough to figure it out. :)
