[20]

We have a new background this time.  J wasn't home for the picture, plus this is just way easier.  I think I like it better anyway.

He was on the move, so this is the best we could capture!

Clothes: 18 months & 24 months

Growing Up:  Coop is picking up words like crazy.  He is still using mainly monosyllabic words and a few two word sentences.  He did say "I get hand," the other day, so hopefully we are close to two syllable words because deciphering what he means from one syllable is tough! Coop has a mouth full of teeth!!  He is only missing his two year molars.  We have also started/attempted potty training.  We will have to report back next month, but he is going using the potty some and even has underwear "uh ware"!  He is learning more and more animal sounds.  His pig, elephant, and owl noises are just the cutest!!

Likes: Gruffalo and Charlie Cook books (LO and Cook as Coop says), bananas, momma's smoothie, watching the cars and trucks go by, watching birds, carrying his monkey around (I find him in funny spots downstairs), banging, pushing his shopping cart around, saying 'no', wearing hats, drinking from momma or daddy's cup, putting things in the trash, sweeping, his bedtime book Aunt Marion got him (he asks for 'Steee' and 'Kate' when he wants to read it, which is every nap time and bedtime), Mr. Potato Head

Dislikes: diaper changes, riding in the car, long hairs on him, being naked, coming inside, momma leaving him for bible study, having wet pants, when Gruffalo (movie) ends, hearing the words 'no' or 'stop'

Schedule: We are still in between one and two naps..

Moments:
Cooper made it all day without mommy (the longest he has been away from me) for Aunt Marion's party.  He loved seeing Aunt Marion ("M-ian") and all her friends though! Coop also knows his own name and often says it when he sees a picture of himself or catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror. He has learned to stomp and enjoys stomping on berries from out holly bush.

On the warmer days, we go outside and play in the backyard.  Two of those days, Cooper has walked right over to the neighbor's house (I follow closely behind), gone right to the door and knocked wanting to play with Mr. Johnny (on-eee).  They play ball together while I talk with Mrs. Jan. :)
