Well, we got it done by September! We sure cut it close though. Since it is the same color as the guest room, it got painted, but nothing else. One day the light fixture and ceiling fan will be replaced, although we probably will not put a ceiling fan back in the room. :-)
We had planned on just painting the living room, Coop's playroom, and the entry when the work was completed on them. However, they weren't as quick as they hoped (or we would have liked), so when my parents came down we couldn't paint them. So mom helped me paint the guest bathroom instead. Everything has a fresh coat of paint or two- trim, crown molding, and walls. The ceiling and doors are waiting their turn sometime in the future though. It also is sporting new light switches and a new outlet (that we are still trying to make work...) The entry, and living room/playroom will, too... hopefully this week. So check back early next week for a post about that!
I forgot to take before pictures, so just picture khaki walls, beat up trim, and a valance over the shower with 80s fabric stuffed with tissue paper.

| You can really see how big it is in this picture. And how much wasted space there is. |

The house is slowly starting to feel like us. And a fresh coat of paint never hurt anything either.
